Every car has probs from factory, you dont want to know how many vz's didnt start first time round when they first came down the line.

as for the battery 99% sure its in the boot unless its been moved since ive seen it.

they were going to make a coupe version then holden started going down hill so canned that idea. they made a proto-type and apparently looked very very nice.

It should be soon, now that they have the test cars completely built and being driven.
the release will be at the end of june.

they've only made approx 60 cars on the production line all the others would have been hand built approx 10-15. the interior is impressive but s and ss models can option a colour coded crash pad (dash) which in orange looks terrible. the side vents are different to vz, all models have them and statesman gets slightly wider one because they have a different front guard head lights, hsv gets a different front guard again with a huge higher and thiner hole for a vent. the brakes look kinda small but apparently there the same size as the vz just different shaped. rotors are bigger though, the wheels on a ss just dont fill out the guards, they look like 16's but there actually 18's standard.

have they at least changed that ugly door trim and relocated the inside door handles, that was one of my biggest problems with the vt-z commodores

I like the inside of the VTvz better than the falcons for some reason, just grew on me I spose. I hope they don't ruin it with the VE and make it all retro.

^^^ i Personaly dont like it that much, to me the dash looks cluttered in vt/x and bland in vy/z but like i said before i just really dislike the door trim imo its one of the big contributing factors that makes the vy/z interior look so dated plus the door handles are really akward in the position there in.

Messages for Holden.

While your original stylists were away:
Mitsubishi rang. they want their 380 rear back
Ford rang, they want their headlights back
Audi rang. They want their windows back

--
Mind you when has holden last had real original syling. Every Commodore has jsut been warmed over Opel designs anyhow, I think holden have forgotton how to be original.
Whether you liked or hated the AU and/or BA, at least they were original aussie designs.

On that subject.

When the Falcon was first released over here, wasnt it designed by Ford in the USA?

Just wondering.
