But on points it's over now, French World Champion, for the first time ( I think) Fabio Quartrararo, that's an unusual surname for a frog eh. PS - They come around corners on the " chicken strip " CB, that's about 2 cm of tread touching the track surface on a bend, if you know of the great bike racer and adopted Aussie Barry Sheene, well he became famous racing in the USA, he come around a left hander into the main straight, there just happened to be a film crew who were filming another rider, but as luck would have it, or bad luck, the cameras were aimed on the corner where Sheene lost it, 200 mph, he broke everything breakable in his body, that's how he made his name so famous, plus he always wore his lucky Gary Nixon T shirt under his leathers! They investigated it, conclusion, a worm come out the grass onto the track, he caught it, on the " chicken strip " then lights out! Last edited by slowsnake; 25-10-2021 at 09:36 AM. Reason: Add PS |

No more than your car not starting is a problem.
How do you fix that? You find what's broken... repair it... and then like magic suddenly the car starts again! I mean I guess you could try standing infront of your car and telling it that you have needs and the lack of being able to drive is a major problem. That probably won't convince the car to start though. Check the dash, the lights might even be communicating with you about what's wrong. |

The title is "Geez, I hate that!" - the thread was created for a bit of fun and nothing else.
If you need marriage counselling including what happens in the bedroom, kitchen. laundry or wherever else you can think of take it to PM. While I understand that we are all adults this is still a family forum. Would you want your 5 year old child reading this? No, most of us wouldn't. Slowsnake, for the last time, think before you post, I am starting to get sick of deleting your posts and I am sure that Russ is too. I am sure that you know what will come next if you don't start thinking. Last edited by PG2; 25-10-2021 at 03:00 PM. |

Hmmmm, walking into my local bottlo for some refreshing alchobooze, 3 haggard homeless persons were outside asking for change. Answer is no, main reason is i card everything. But that brings me to a quiet spoken bloke i used to work with. He never talked about his home life. Anything he said was just banter with the boys and of good value. But later on, when this bloke had finished his apprenticeship and was on decent coin, he opened up. Nobody gave him ****. His parents never worked, never had a family car or a licence to drive a car. He grew up in what he called assisted living. So houso. So this dude got out of the system. He was an apprentice of mine and to say he was not a hard working motorvated person would be a lie. Its all the various merry-go-rounds of life really, you can ride the one you're on, or change to another. This bloke took the merry-go-round of making a solid wage over the dole.

When an online retailer has burned their bridges with you by being slow, unresponsive - and rather than try to win you back with alternative offers or future credits, spam you with “deals” on what they proved incapable of fulfilling already.

Being in iso for 14 days the daughter and I thought we'd use online grocer shopping for the first time. We had hamburgers on the menu for Thursday, given it's going to be a warm day here. Patties alone were going to cost $7.50, so when I saw they had a burger kit, which included 4 patties, 4 brioche rolls, 4 slices of cheese and tomato relish on special for $10, I thought I;d grab that instead.
Order was delivered today (25th Oct) and the best before date for the burger pack was 24th Oct. Not really impressed for my first order. On the plus side, I went back online and found where I could provide feedback and I ended up getting refunded for the burger pack. Free burgers for dinner tonight

Your sauce bottle is supposed to be in your fridge... and containing sauce.. so that you may put it on your bun when you make burgers. Instead it's upturned, chilling beside your covid masks and presumably not full of sauce.
WHERE IS THE SAUCE ON THAT DRY BUN? |

The white thing, mr slowsnake, is a serviette holder. The upside down horse is exactly that. My daughter used to be nuts about horses when she was younger (still is, just she's moved on to the far more expensive real ones now) and grabbed that out of her cupboard during home school for one of the classes where they were doing a 'treasure' hunt. Not sure why it hasn't been put away.
And leesa, the burger had tomato relish on it, as well as mustard and mayonnaise. The bottle (which was nearly empty, hence being inverted) was for the chippies. And I never keep my sauce in the fridge. Cupboards for our sauces (except mayo/aioli).

Nah, log tables are boring. But we'd read AS3000 for fun.

Funny that, I read AS1554 Part1 and 3 occasionally if I get bored, I love it, or run through my NSW Welding Supervisor books, but a lot has changed in 16 years since I retired, but I could still weld an 8" dia pipe schedule 40, 15 minutes stovepipe technique, that's 60 inches of welding to X-ray standard, I miss it too.

I reckon it depends how you eat, and where the sauce is within the food. I’m with FGX and store most at room temperature. I like wasabi tubes and that Korean chilli paste to be chilled.
It’s also possible to consider the same food as two different items depending on temperature of consumption. My mother thought nothing of cold dripping on bread - gross - but when it was sizzling around vegetables, the rest of us were onto it. |

Room temp tomato sauce on a meat pie, then suck it out of your mo all arvo while your welding, only way to do it.

Tomato sauce belongs in the fridge and then used generously on hot dishes, providing a hot-cold mouth experience when you eat it. that aside... the bottles do say that they're supposed to be stored in the fridge! ya'll got big bottles of sauce going off in the cupboard. |

Got to pay that ritual. It mightn’t be how I’d do it, but I can see the “structure”.
