Default LOL @ "Brock" Falcon

This probably belongs in "Dumbest things people have said" thread but a while back, one of my neighbours said his cousin has a Brock Flacon. I said I didn't believe it unless I saw it. Well, it's here, I've seen it, yet I still don't believe.EA Brock falcon

It's new to me. I was unaware so the joke is indeed on me...good thing I have no shame
That said, I'm still doubtful this is a genuine item, so would someone who knows more than me (clearly most people on this forum) care to pass on any other distinguishing features aside from bootlip spoiler and signature?

I didn't pop the bonnet but, no signature instrument cluster, standard looking interior, no build plate, sig on boot missing etc. It appears to be a body kit and rims.

From memory it was during the time he was having all those dramas with the Energy Polarizer in his VL HDT cars, especially the signature series ones. Holden didn't want a bar of it and at the same time he switched camps and campaigned an RS500 Cosworth Sierra in the old Group A days, along with Dick Johnson, Longhurst etc....

I was told by a guy when i was in coles doing the groceries ( he was telling me this coz he didnt like my ford t-shirt ) that Lowndes should have slowed down to let Kelly win Bathurst for Holden & Brock......sheesh wtf. But when you tell them Lowndes and Brock were best mates and Brock did drive a ford and ford made a Brock falcon, its in one ear & out the other. Years to come its going to say FORD WON 2006 BATHURST, not holden loses bathurst for Brock farewell. Theres plenty of Brock in Ford i say.

If Brock did a limited edition Victa lawnmower that had no alterations other than a signature and charged seven times the price for it, would anyone buy one?

Brock Falcon, saw one today at the aussie muscle car museum (which is a guys private collection).

According to the guy it was while brocky was having his fight with holden over energy polariser.

This was a collaboration with his mate who was a chiropractor that was also into new age healing etc. The polariser apparently had a crystal that was located at the rear of the car and the had magnets located in the engine bay mounted near the motor. Apperently the magnets did some tricky stuff and the crystal drew out the negative energy and the result was better fuel economy and small power gains. hmmmmmm

Holden got brocky to let them have a car with the setup to test and found no difference to cars without.

Well I think thats along the lines of what we were told.

As for the Falcons they basically had the stock brock upgrades, mild head work, genie extractors, body kit, and a some interior upgrades and a signature.

Was only ever a couple of hundred built

The Polariser was a piece of plastic that allowed Holden to charge you extra.
Or I may be wrong...maybe it was metal.

Other than that, its main purpose was to grab a little extra dosh from your pocket.

Holden wanted nothing to do with it, thats why they and brocky had the fall out, hence the brock falcon

1,000 bucks says it would have sold like hotcakes.

Maybe, if you ignore the fact Holden knocked the idea back, and Brocky spat the lolly. He truly believed in it.

EDIT: Moffat HO maybe?

Sooo many grey spec EA's were made, its confusing.

There were about 500 built from what i remember. I dont think theres many 'mock-up/replica' borck falcons getting around either, so your mates car probably is genuine.
