Hate it. Even 6 is bad enough, so they've just put in more "cute" stuff to add to the already hundreds of flaws and security threats.

I've been enjoying the BETA for a while now.
What's the diff between them? I just like the giant smileys that take over the screen and the nudge button. And I just wanted an excuse to use this... : |

I use Windows Messenger 4.7
It comes with XP and I've never bothered to download. Well, 4.7 doesn't come with XP, 4.5 or something does, then it auto-updates. |

Well that's great, it won't let me open my inbox in Firefox. Back to 6.whatever, I fail to see one feature I need in 7. Infact, I fail to see anything but avatars shown on the main list (not all work anyway), more ads for crap I don't need, stupid recolour of everything and the trademark of a microsoft update; it runs slower.

Messenger plus might let you I dont know, I use it to check my pop email, either way MSN will probably force you to use 7 or cannot sign in.
In other news there is already a vulnerability on 7, patch is due on what they call 'Patch Tuesday' |

Ahh, so it is possible to have Messenger Open your Hotmail Box in Firefox? I can only ever get it to use IE, and its the only reason i still have it installed.
