I wanted to know if these mobile phone antenna boosters are any good:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....390897824&rd=1 I get shyte reception at my house... my only concern is the line "This Antenna is a passive device designed to reflect stray radiation in the body of the phone, and re-radiate that signal to improve the phone's performance." Am I going to start glowing in the dark if I use this?

My old phone came with one that flashed when ever it was transmitting data, but it ****ed me off so I pulled it off, I think it was an antenna booster, but I always got good reception at my old house and my new house so I dont know if it did anything.
edit: And I think they dont work with UMTS phones (3G) only GSM phones, so if your phones real new it could be a UMTS one, but I think the only 3G network in Aus is 3 so if your not on that then you're obvouisly sweet. Last edited by M14A-Mclaren; 04-05-2005 at 03:38 PM. |

I fail to see how this could improve reception. "stray radiation"- yeah right.
this sounds like the 2nd biggest ripoff i've ever seen (the first being 'e-books' on how to get things for free). |

They can be bought from the same place as Brock Polarisors, electric superchargers, magnetic fuel octane boosters, and anti-ageing cremes.
Save your money!!! or post it to me!!! |
