Default Anyone build model wooden boats?

Hey guys.
Ive been thinking about building one of those wooden boats that hobby shops have.
Nothing too serious to start with just a small life raft or something, no titanics just yet.

But I'm curious to know if any of you guys have built one? Or building one?
And I'm wanting to know what's involved. Ie Do you have to cut your own "planks" any steaming involved?

I suppose the bigger the vessel the more complicated it will be but yeh like I said Im interested in your experiences. Photos would be good too if you would like to share your efforts.

Cheers guys.

Whitty.
