I've been using MD web hosting for a few years now (I could give you a few things I think MD stand for, but they might not pass the swear filter) and last Saturday was the last straw for their list of stuff-ups. I asked to get ownership on one file transfered to me (CHOWN) and instead they changed the permissions on EVERY single file and folder on all of my directories, then asked that I fixed it myself without explanation, apology or help. Nice 'support'.
So anyway, what can anyone here recommend as far as Australian hosts go? I will also be recommending it to all my clients I create websites for, so if anyone here is running a company there will be a fair bit of business going through it. Apart from the obvious, it needs to have: MYSQL databases PHP support etc Lots of bandwidth A fair amount of space Thanks for any recommendations.
