Well it does use the same platform and the same base engine. However, I can easily see were the extra money goes. The F6 is an awesome package with a lot of extras over the XT. When you start adding the total cost of the options 1 by 1 you would find the F6 to be very cost effective as a performance car.

What I meant to say was I can't see where the extra $120,000 in options are in the W427. Even looking at a Clubsport (or whatever they're called today) I can't see the value in the added cost. Aside from a different body kit and interior, the only major change is the engine. So, is the 427 really worth $70,000???
