If you accumulate 12 -15 points your license is suspended for 3 months.....However you can apply to the RTA for a 12 month "good behaviour period" instead of serving the suspension....Should you accumulate 2 or more points during the good behaviour period you will face a license suspension of twice the original suspension time. Question is....Once the 12 month good behaviour period is completed AND you don't incur 2 or more points, are all previously incurred points wiped ?
