where do i start?
: well a few months ago we got a new production manager, new as in 'our area of the factory' new. since then its been one damn thing after another. my other half got a month off work because she didnt answer her phone one day at home and he didnt like her message bank, union did squat as usual. a few other things have happened that i wont go into but today just tops it all off. i was ready to belt this tool myself as i have a severe disliking for him since his been stuffing us around. TODAY the dimwit comes up and tells me that i have to shave off my Goatee or to not come to work at all. ive been in the Dairy Manufacturing business for over 5 years now and it has always been accepted that if you wear a beard mask (which i do) you can have a goatee. wow you might say, just shave it off...well no. ive had a goatee since i was 15 and i dont see that i should have to shave it off to make some tool happy. to make my point heres a few industry rules regarding hair. you MUST wear a hair net - even if your head is shaven completely BALD, but you do not need to wear a beard mask if you have a clean shaven face. if you have a beard/goatee you MUST wear a beard mask, if you have a moe only, you do not need to wear one. you must wear sanitry gloves when directly handling food product, but you dont have to wear long sleeve shirts to stop your arm hair from falling in the food. so in conclusion: beard/goatee hair CAN fallout moe hair CANNOT fall out arm hair CANNOT fall out eyebrow hair CANNOT fall out clean shaven FACE with no hair - hair CANNOT fall out clean shaven HEAD with no hair - hair CAN fall out. so as you can see its pretty stupid how things are regulated in the industry. i know everyone doesnt want hair in their food and thats fine and having a goatee covered by a beardmask ISNT going to let hair into the product either. still havent decided if im going to work tomorrow. considering that I am the only one left that can do my job (theres 2 more people - 1 will be at the footy - the other is working doing another job that no one else knows how to do) so im thinking it might be a 'stick it up your boss' Saturday :thebirds: well thats my rant anyway. : anyone do knee capping around here? :monkes: ALSO: anyone wanna give me a new job.....yes im being serious.
