Hi everyone,
I just purchased a vehicle (boat and trailer actually) from Victoria. I live in NSW and have not done anything with the rego yet. I purchased the package for the engine. I am keeping the engine and selling the boat. I listed it on e-bay and the winning bidder lives in Victoria. I am just wondering if it will be possible for him to keep the rego? The boat and trailer are still registered but still in the name of the person I purchased the package from. The guy i purchased it off a couple of weeks ago said he would not hand in the notice of disposal so that I can use it with the remaining rego, so he may or may not have handed in the notice of disposal. Any hep would be appreciated. The guy wants to come from Melbourne to collect it tomorrow and the RTA is closed so I can't call them now. Cheers, Riverrat321. |
