Default Silly 'fault' on a GT

I just drove my BA GT for one of the last times before I put it up for sale - down to the auto shop to buy cleaning products for its (hopefully) final wash, clay bar and polish.

On the way there it started beeping from behind the dash. Every now and then, on deceleration. It didn't do it at speed at all.

"Great," I thought. "Years of absolute trouble-free motoring and I get a gremlin now."

I was imaging the worst... Some sort of ECU warning? An intermittent fault that would cost lots to fix? Some sort of bizarre prediction that my engine was about to blow up?

I pulled into the driveway, expecting the worst. I went right over the car: fluid levels, fuses... It was a real head-scratcher. Then I spotted it. The boot was open, the huge GT spoiler holding it down. I closed it. Back to trouble free motoring.

I'm going to miss this car so much.
