Pretty much every parcel zooming around the world’s postal services has a scan code. What you can find out about it, reflects the level of service purchased by the seller and any predilections of the countries involved.
But the recipient cannot purchase extra transit information “on the go”, at their expense - nor can the sender upgrade tracking ad hoc. Imagine being able to lay down (say) another $2.20 and see all scan events on an economy parcel. It would seem there’s a lucrative worldwide business for the taking. |
