Got myself a full tank of premium today for 96.1 cpl :sm_headba :
Was just pulling into the civiv centre carpark in Mt Gambier and was listening to 96.1 starFM. They put an announcment over the radio " the first 10 green or yellow cars that get down to the the mobil servo on the corner of crouch and commercial streeet will only pay 96.1 cents per litre of fuel!!" So off we shot to the servo!! We were number 5 and the only yellow car : We were only just discussing earlier that we wouldn't fill the car up, she only had not quite 1/4 of a tank left in it but no travel plans for the weekend. WHAT A BARGAIN!! i filled the rapid up with 98 premium..$1.48 per litre on the pump. not sure how many litres i put in but the boswer read $75 when i finished.. the wife only paid $48.50 for well over 3/4's tank of juice :sm_headba Gotta be happy with that! Also got a plastic coke cup with a deck of cards some choocolate (not 4 me:()and a rubber 96.1starFM bangle thingy for free : Man i wish it was like this all the time..cheap fuel..free stuff.. almost made it worth while getting a tooth pulled this morning : Soup, bananas and yougurt on the menu for the next week. |
