G'day guys, My girlfriend has a new Suzuki Swift and she is really excited about this new suzuki based on the Swift platform we found on the net and wonders what others thoughts are on this new Swift design called 'Splash' (Remember when the XH SPLASH ute came out? Anyhow..) I wonder if it will be coming to Australia?
I reckon it looks a bit of alright! Especially as the Article says it has a bit of Yaris in it - A car I wanted my girl to buy besides the Swift. The rear tail lights look a bit "Noddy" and the wheels tucked right out the back of the car looks odd to me but I spose its for maximum interior room. Suzuki Swift Splash

I liked it until I saw the back, geez what happened to the good ol' boxy back end? Designers now days and trying to make them look curvy and flabby like a fat chicks behind... don't like it at all.

I know it is a small car but the engines seem a bit light-on.
It starts with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. As for the look, I am not a big fan. I guess you could get use to it. |

1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel: 55kW (75hp)
Look out for this version when it pulls up beside you at the lights

I like the look of the Swift, but this one is a shocker. I don't like the zero-overhang rear - imagine how small the boot must be, and it is so tall also (1.6m). Ok around town but a liability on the highway.

I like the current suzuki swifts, but I really think that they've gone back a notch with this splash model.
