Default F6 cop car in Sydney.

Hi to all....

Just letting you know that I saw a new BF MK2 Typhoon(Orange) patrol car going after someone today on South Dowling street near Kensington....It was unmarked with very dark tinted windows.....It's an 80kph zone but traffic usually flows at 90(not in peak hour of course) and you'll always have someone flying through at 90-100kph.

Be aware!!

Cheers.
Doug

BEWARE, ORANGE FIAT POLICE CAR.

Location: Glebe police station. Seen patrolling the inner west.

Has police get up, but not police lights on the roof.

Maybe i'll get a photo next time..

They (F6 undercover) are all over the place. Saw one Breeze F6 booking people in Wetherill Park all day. A few weeks ago there was an Octane doing the same.
Someone was telling me they are using the old and the new as well over the Xmas period. You could get caught in an old ute for all we know.... don't race and don't speed... you might send the government broke.

Ah, good old adelaide. We just use standard VZ exec's with massive aerials and louvre's. Stupid SA drivers.

There are 10 of these unmarked typhoons in NSW now.

Be careful, they are trying to bait people into street racing.

Theres a good thread on this on Ls1

nothing new about baiting ppl... i remember a few years ago.. undercover holden utes everywhere along the M1 between brisbane and the gold coast trying to get ppl to race them... then book them...

one night a group of us returning home from the coast spotted one... so we boxed him in.... just for the fun of it....a car in front... a car behind.. and he was in the left lane.. so a few cars sat to the right of him... he must have been ****ed off... coz once we broke the formation... he took off like a bat out of hell and took the very next exit... (we didn't box him in to stop him booking people doing the wrong thing)

ahh.. the things we did when we were young and stupid...

Would it be against forum rules if we start a "Unmarked POlice Car " thread and name the cars and what location they are in?

the easiest way to tell an unmarked car (no matter what it is) they have dark tinted windows and atleast 1 aerial on the boot (some have more), the term "unmarked" means just that (they are not maked with any stickers etc) that does not mean you cant pick them : it would be interesting to to see if someone could take a video of any that are trying to bait people into racing them :evil3:

Tassie Unmarked cars are nearly all light blue VE's with steelie wheels and led lights in the grill that stand out a mile away. I'd be very ashamed if one of them got me. They used to absolutely thrash a 4 door focus sedan but I'd say they have killed it by now. I've seen it fly up over kerbs in heavy traffic.

Not forgetting the Suby Foresters, Suby Imprezers, Nissan Xtrails, Falcon XT's, a silver F250, plus a couple of Toyo Landcruisers. Ive even seen coppers get out of a Ford Escape recently.

Oh, and there is a couple of other VEs on Hwy patrol, dark grey and a silver ones I have seen. The D's have a black VY as well.

here in the west i've seen an orange ve ss commodore on our freeways having a feast twice... both times he had a wrx pulled over on the side of the mitchell freeway. Both incidents i've seen were about 3 months apart so he's obviously caught heaps of people between then. Feel sorry for the wrx's because chances are the cop probably provoked them. oh well just be careful dragging an orange ve ss on mitchell freeway boys and girls...

I noticed Ashfield Highway patrol have a yellow Evo 7. Saw it around a few times while I was driving a bus in the area for a few days last week.
Has dark tints, and custom gold on black plates "evo78u".

Pulled up next to him at a set of lights and with the window down I saw the blue uniform, cap, and the computer screen.
Wondered how someone could afford an evo when all they seemed to do was cruise around all day!

Only have SV6s and XR6 Turbos in WA. No WRX's. WA still has the no V8 policy. My question is why would anyone ask for an SV6???

It has been done.
Cheap and nasty way........ the "spy" cameras with audio from ebay. Plug them into a handycam and bingo..... I have seen footage, and you can clearly hear the car behind reving his engine and trying to bait the driver.
