Default Barred mobile phone

I bought/got a mobile phone under contract last year, went to a party and came home without it, i notified the company they barred the phone and i got a new 1. Four months later it has been returned to me yesterday, picked up by a friend caused it was exactly like hers, she finally traced it back to me.What i want to know is, can i get this switched back on as its still brand new and i still have all the contents with it, or do i just throw the thing away. Havent been able to get through to the company yet, today......

Yes you can have it un-barred..............

Unless you made an insurance claim for it and have been paid out then the phone no longer belongs to you - it belongs to the insurance company and you should forward it to them

Did you just bar the calls or lock the IEMI
If you locked the IEMI ring your provider with the origianal reference number they should of given you and it usually takes up to 36 hrs to get it reinstated
