G'day,
I have been seeing heaps about variation in dyno shops and the way the cars are strapped down...I'm the first to admit I know very little about how a dyno is set up to do a "whatever"...I was just thinking if some sort of pressure sensor/gauge could be used as a industry standard to strap down a car to a specific tension?? is there a whole lot more to this argument that I'm missing? if so enlighten me. If this has been raised somewhere ... apoligies in advance. |

They should be strapped down tight enough to stay in contact with the rollers, if the car is allowed to ride up on the front roller it will give a higher power reading...
