Default Great Service

Hey guys my car is an 1993 EB and apart from the head gasket the heaters seem to be the next big problem anyway i live in SA and my mechanics are at Lonsdale and they are called "SA Mobile Auto Repairs" and i went there today with a price of how much it would cost to get it fixed, as i thought the dash needed to pulled apart.

Anyway the guys asked me if i had the car there and if i would mind bringing it up so u put it in the garage and he had a look under the bonnet and about 10-25mins later the heater was working and he didnt charge me a dime. I tell you next time i go in there i will offer them some money as that is great service and these days thats hard to find.

If you near Morphett Vale, Lonsdale or Norlunga please do your car a favour and take it too these guys they are top blokes and i will let them touch all of my cars in future !

We see so many workshops or places of business getting a bad rap, its good to hear a good one.

Hard to find service like that these days. Shame really, word of mouth (and keyboard) is a cheap and effective way to drum up business. Business karma if you will...

I know I'll give them a whirl too now, if my local can't lift their game. Well done on the good rep post not too many people would bother?

Good top hear some positive feedback about workshops, they do exist and many go overboard to help.

Last weekend i ran a whole new fuel system in the XA, i went to my preferred tuner on Friday afternoon and raided the store room for all the fittings i needed and was told to fix it up next time i bring the car in for work.

The following day i realised i was short one fitting and needed some alloy tube, being a long weekend all the speed shops will be closed.

I called the shop at 1:00 pm (closing time) the mechanic said "we are closed now but i shall leave you the parts under the gate, just grab them, oh and i will leave you a couple of spark plugs to replace the two that fouled".

When it comes to good workshops stick with them, pay on time and they will bend over backwards to help.

100% Correct.
Isn't it funny that the good mecanics are overrun with work yet the bad ones have to create work for themselves?

I never met anyone in SA who knocked back Coopers Pale. Then again, sounds like he's not too far from McClaren Vale. :baby bott
