I dont believe you can turn it off.

But, the computer works in sequence. 1/. you open the door, 2/. you turn on the ignition - which makes it beep. It knows you entered the car via. the drivers door.

Now you could get in via. the passenger door!!!! or if it is so annoying, rewire your door switch so that it is hooked up to the passenger door switch. The car will never know you're getting in via. the drivers door. As a circuit is still in effect, the PC should still function OK. (ie door is open warning etc, and interior lights)

Personally I think it would be easier to just put your belt on! My '08 LT does not have this issue however, so I might not know what you're going thru!

There is a sequence to turn it off, but alas it has not worked for me, neither did the auto window up..
I have done the auto door locking, an the single open when unlocking.

No the sequence is for LR. Doesn't work for LS and onwards.

Auto window up is easy. Just close the window and hold the switch up for 2 seconds. It'll then auto-up next time. Has to learn where the closed position is to teach the anti-trap it's boundaries. Needs to be done after any battery repalcement.

I have been finding stuff to fool the Computer for a while so we can street legal the AWESOME motor in other cars.

But this will make your cars non compliant with ADR's so don't keep it disabled.

Hope it helps

Still looking for Focus front hubs and uprights.

Guys, Noticed that if I put the indicator on before turning the ignition on the seatbelt warning does not start and turning the indicator on cancels the beeps after you have turned the car on, assuming you have not yet put the seat belt on. (At least it does on my 2007 LT hatch!)

3rd - turn the key to II (on)

7th - start your car and then unbuckle yourself...

you should see that your seatbelt light doesnt come up on the dash..
there u have it, no more seatbelt annoying sounds..

i probably dont recommend turning it off as it is there for safety, but god doesnt it get annoying!

--to turn it back on, just repeat step 1 - 7. should turn it back on--
