Hi,
I guess its a silly question - but for the life of me when I plug my Iphone 3gs into the USB socket with the iphone/usb cable, it synchronises OK, though it will only play music through the Aux -> Bluetooth function, and not the Aux -> Ipod function. Any ideas why? Thanks & Cheers Steve |

check the iphone itself, sometimes the bluetooth logo lights up - transmitting through the bt. if you tap the logo, you should get the option to select the headphone jack.

Thanks.
If I select ipod on the phone, then the input logo - ford audio and line in are available. When I select line in, no audio is present. The ford audio (which I believe is BT audio) plays the sound thru BT audio. I just had the expectation that if you plugged the phone in using the iphone cable, and it syncs up, it would play through the line in not BT audio. Cheers Steve |

Nokia actually makes the Bluetooth module, so you can see why it doesn't sync perfectly with the iPhone. Then again, I'd much rather press a few extra buttons and keep the iPhone!

you have to plut line-in to the headphone jack next to the USB socket, btw.
you cant just use regular ipod cable, it needs to go from ipod 30-pin connector to USB+3.5mm jack... |

Yep, that's correct. You'll need something that looks like this:
