I don't know whether the tilted bonnet (same as removing the rubber seal) would work so much due the the pressure at the windscreen, you are relying more on the heat escaping out the sides.
Vents are the only way to go. that is if you can get a set that will suit the lines of the bonnet. Custom bonnet perhaps?

Thanks all for the input.
Been having a nice hard think about this one. Did a hand test on the bonnet yesterday. Seems that alot of the heat appears to be comming from the engine itself. Directly over the engine it was blistering hot, where the supercharger was it was quite cool. Im going to get the exhaust heat wrapped and then check again. Its definately crazy hot because its effecting my outiside air temp sensor. IE: yesterday, it was 20's, but the sensor read 37 deg after being parked. Has never done that before. I will see how it goes after i heat wrap the exhaust.
