Question In need of rubber 245 60 R14

Hey boys,
I'm trying to find (2x) 245 60 R14's for my XY (New prefered)

Does any-one know where I can find some in QLD and if not, Aust?

Starting to not care on the make at this point. I've sent out a few e-mails but not having much luck as yet.

Any help would be great

Thanks

M.

Hello
I recently bought hankooks in that size for the back of my Xa Ute. So they should be around.
In Brisbane too.

Mate, that's what I have on the back right now and I can't find anything on them out there. I don't know how they perform (had her only a few weeks and they're worn) but they look great on the slotters.

Can you recall where you got yours so I can give them a call?

Thanks mate

Easier not always the answer though hey?

Fair enough. Whatever tyre you get don't get Firestones they have no grip had some on my XY years ago. Just had to look like rain and she would step out and slide.

Must have been the wide ovals you're referring to. Technology has come a long way since those days.

If you want period RWL style try the Mastercraft Avenger GTs - good range of old school sizes (only way I could get RWL 205/60R13s for the RS2000).

These are bought into the country by the distributors of Coopers Tyres, you can purchase from any Cooper Tyres stockist.

Hope your right. They were outright dangerous.
After the third time the front stepped out I got rid of and put Bridgestones on now they were good.

I don't know if this helps -

Bob Jane have one with the same spec's

http://www.bobjane.com.au/tyreset-de...381758kmhnbb36

It's a Bridgestone - seems to be the only one they have in 245 60 R14 though.

Might be worth a try if no luck with the others.

Tyre technology has come a long way in the last 20 odd years since wide ovals were available. So I must be right

i'll have to try them! There's a big Cooper dealer down in Rockhampton we used to deal with when we had a Landcruiser with Coopers.

The order has gone in boys.

Tyreshack it is,
Seems like a good price (going by what little I've seen) and the delivery to Gladdy QLD is very good!

Thanks to you all for your help along the way too.
I'm going to be keeping the info I got here because I think it will definitely come in handy "down the track"

Thanks again form the Dog.
