I asked the op to tell us "his" experience in the HSV compared to "ours" as in the Ford product, not mine as in the "AU", I didn't think my post was that hard to comprehend ?.

If you want to go fast get a sports bike. Yahama R1 for instance 300k's plus.
honestly, who wants to drive a car when you can ride.
Bike:
1. Cheaper to Purchase
2. Faster
3. Cheaper to run.
4. ¼ mile times cars dream about
5. And Standard too not modified.
Get a grip guys this Ford/Holden thing is crap. My daughter drives a Holden and I still love her.
Who wants to ride a bike when you can drive a second hand Nationals Superkart for 7k that'll blow even Moto GP bikes away around race circuits in Aus

What's a 7k bike get you? A Hyosung/second hand overpriced 250 learner Honda?

whats so dirty about driving a HSV or FPV? They are both australian made cars and have great features. If you drove a TRD on the other hand, hang your head in shame.

Although the HSV looks outrageous in the exterior department, atleast it is different inside and out to the standard commodore. Cant say that for the FPV.

I do think this Holden vs Ford is funny now a days as it used to be based on race results where a guy could purchase a car throw a cage in it and go racing.
Now the V8 suoercars don't even represent what is the current model Ford or Holden and next year thay are going to the same platform format as Nascar has.
Ford haven't had a pushrod V8 on the street since the last AU's but they still use them to race is that not hindering the product on the show room floor.
Now they reckon people support drivers more and don't care who they race for (Ford or Holden) well why bother badging the cars at all then?
