Steering wheel to adjust up further
A towbar you can actually put a D shackle in No milkshake gearbox. The old man used to pre-deliver XY's with milkshakes out of the factory, surely they can get it right by now

I hear you and feel for you having read your thread about your experiences previous to now. I wasn't having a shot at anyone, I just made the observation that we've had a very good run with my wife's FG and have (luckily) not seen so many of the issues that seem prevalent.

Just had a 30,000km FG MkII here and the centre bearing rubber and rubber donut were already showing signs of heavy cracking. The diff bush was no different. The only difference between those older Falcons and the current is that the current has things that go wrong which cost a lot of money and to replace one small part needs the removal of an entire assembly (dash or diff cradle etc). In saying that, I still love Falcon, but the quality, cost of maintenance and reliability dropped off significantly after the EL/AU.

They don't blind you if they are done properly (ie factory)..

Something so small, yet simple to fix. In my FG you can't turn the climate control off & then back on again & get the same settings as you had when you turned it off. The only way to turn it back on is to press auto & then I have to press another 3-4 buttons to get it to where I like it. Sounds trivial but is annoys me!!

The ones on SUV's do blind you. You would figure when they're on 100k german cars that it has auto level headlights.

I am talking about proper factory lights which are done properly. Sticking a bright blue bulb in a reflector style housing is the ones that blind everyone. I thought auto levelling and headlight washers were compulsory on all cars with proper HID lights. |
