Default Superyob's dilemma...

Ok folks, I have a dilemma that needs sorting out.

I have for the last few months been trying to give away an XC grille and an XC GS sports dash. Now in my past posts, I may have typed:

"I have an XC grille and an XC GS sports dash to give away". People reading this communication have obviously misconstrued my post as "I have a slightly used but shiny dog **** to give away", as I have not had one enquiry about these (what I assumed to be) in demand items.

So, dear fellow forumers, here are two pics that assuredly enhance the veracity of these items, thus proving that I am not giving away shiny dog turds...

XC grille

Working GS dash. Fascia needs work...

Why am I giving them away? Just because I can. If I have no takers I shall not bother the forum with this again...

What a great gesture for the forum members.

I don’t get it, if I had an XC I’d jump at the offer even if it was just for spares.

I guess you’re willing to post it anywhere at their cost?

Will these fit a BF GT?

Good on you Yob. I don't own a XC but I may soon.... sooo if no existing XC owners want them I'll take them off your hands.

Thanks Express. While my only purpose is to help out other enthusiasts I'd rather they were just picked up...

I am surprised that I had to go to this length to give away these goodies...

I gave away some pretty tidy tail lights from my Xh tickford Xr ute, on this forum awhile ago! It's funny how odd/cautious "free" things can be viewed! It's no doubt a sign of the times when good deeds are seen as suspect I spose!

I think that may be the case 1Tuffute. The cars are donated to my school, hence it would be wrong of me to profit from these parts. I'd rather give them to forum members otherwise they'd just be scrapped along with the thousands of other less desirable parts...

Yobbo, I'll take the GS dash if you can pack and send it mate. I'll pay costs. Where are you located? I'm inner-Sydney.
