Hi, very frustrating issue that I hope there's a solution for. Since a recent iOS update the Bluetooth music in my Mondeo has been crackly. I would describe it like listening to a record and the needle skips. I had an iPhone 5S then upgraded to an iPhone 6 – both having issues.
This issue is also present on my old mans Ford Ranger and his iPhone 6S. It wasn't too long ago where both cars were fine. Does anyone else have this issue or know a solution? Thank you to anyone that has some info on this as there is not too much on the net that I've found! Some other info: iPhone 6 was set up as a new iPhone and still did it. My Nexus 4 (android phone) does not have the problem. Other cars we have tested (mini and mazda3) don't seem to have the issue, but sometimes it takes 10 mins for it to start the crackling noise so we may not have tested it for long enough. Updated ford audio (nov 2012) but did not fix Arghhhh |

Hi. Are you trying to charge the phone at the same time as you are streaming music? You may find the battery in the phone will take the full charge rate available to it when first plugged in but after a short time it begins to regulate the charge which puts noise into the system. Cheers MD
