There was someone selling the adapters for MP3 players on ebay. Might still be. Bidding went to $50....... WTF, they are $38 new from ford. I made mine for $6. Used sheilded cable as well. Some people have more money than sense.

When I flew on Jetstar they had those laminated crash cards in the back of the seat (you know the ones with instructions on what to do in a crash). I thought I shoudl pinch one as a souvenier but didn't. When I got back from holidays I noticed they were selling for $30 each on ebay. WTF - aviation nuts must have been buying them.

They are great money makers especially ones of international carriers, the ones people have 'souveniered' off Ansett planes are worth a fortune.
