Just saw it through the media and find it a really sad and unecessary event.
They showed the offender of an apparently an ethnicity some people may recognise as allegedly notorious for violent acts. As I've worked in the taxi industry before, it's terrible that these things are still happening, apparently the guy had been fleeing from police (chase which was later called off due to red lights) in a stolen car which blew tyres and then hijacked the taxi & then trying to escape in a truck when he was apprehended. Heads up to VicPol though for the professional attitude in the chase.

I heard that after the taxi driver leapt, or was pushed from his moving car.
Then the driver of the truck who the perpetrator tried to steal held the perpetrator down until cops arrived. I hope this mongrel gets treated like poopie in his prison cell. Hope they no longer have soap-on-a-rope in prisons. That'll learn him! |

Yeah, it's pathetic, was smiling at the camera too.
Apparently on detox from drugs & from Broadmeadows. Enough said, hope justice prevails.

poor bugger, sometimes makes me think about retro active abortion. this is a prime contender right here folks. capital punishment? whipping/flogging in public could be something to think about.
someone dies because someone else decides their life is not worth a roll of toilet paper. RIP.

Yeah good on the truckers, not wrong.
The taxi driver was from Clayton, he may have worked at the depot I worked at, and many of the drivers are just studying hard working long hours taking **** from passengers and it's really sad this happened to this guy, who would have seen the offender on the side of the road (who was clipped by a car as the stolen car he was driving popped it's tyres). The taxi driver would have tried to help and ended up being the victim. The offender yelled out to the media "There is one god, Mohammed, you know what I mean". Hmm.
