Sounds great Wazza, excuse my ignorance but what colour is ego?
Did you go auto or manual?

I actually looked at getting a conquer XR8 craig lowndes signature ute, brand new... but what does the extra money pay for? A steering wheel and a signature! No thanks, I got the Pursuit cheaper and its got bucketloads more grunt and features... plus with 45k on the clock, if anything has gone wrong with it, its probably already been fixed.

Ego's almost black but kinda a really dark grey colour, it's got metallic fleks through it - in the sun they look blue, red & green. It's pretty cool.
I got the manual, I want to have fun in it and I'm sick of auto's!
I also looked at the Craig Lowndes ute, but thought I may as well go the whole hog (it's a business vehicle) and get the SP. Hopefully the massive debt and having to be a tight for the next 5 years will be worth it!

I'm just waiting on my Force 8 in Sillouette, with the boss 302, 6 piston brake upgrade and sunroof...

...probably wont get it, since I have no money, and havent asked FPV for one, but oh well...

Also while I was in Perth, I was given a voucher for Trackskills V8 commodore cup racing at Barbagello raceway for a chrissy present!
Turned out to be an awesome day, everyone had a blast and the instructors
are great guys... I highly recommend the experience. As an added bonus my team ended up winning on the day, so I got a nice trophy to take home too!

Will post some pics of the new beasty when its parked long enough he he
Congrats mate, Mandarin is my favorite recent Ford colour and to have a Pursuit in the garage would make me very happy. Im sure youll love it.

Ok Ive got a quick question for someone with a bit of knowledge about these cars, Ive got a bit of a clunk in the drivetrain when changing from 1st to 2nd just as the clutch takes up.
It seems fine in the other gears though. Anyone had any issues with the 6 speed ?
Might have to get it checked out i reckon...
It seems I have found out why the previous owner has traded it for a new model, Obviously cant drive a manual!

I had a terrible clunk when shifting mainly in first and second and it turned out my diff was VERY loose, the U bolts nuts were finger tight.... it explained a lot, maybe it is that??

Well it would be fantastic if it is only that. I'll have to get under there tomorrow for a nosy

Baxter, might be a while before you see the new wheels mate, still got the good old stamp duty to pay, and theres something else I have planned for it as well.
Im waiting on a quote to get a custom alloy tray made for it.

When I was driving through broken hill early last year I saw a black super pursuit with a flat 1 tonne polished alloy tray, and I thought it was the meanest ute id ever seen. So thats what im going to do, then when thats on ive got a mate who can fab up a trailer with the original tub to use as a camper trailer...
Something different I guess.
