EDIT: Oh yeah, by the way, does anybody here have any proof that there is far too much CO2 being released by humans to cause 'global warming'? Because I am definitely sure that there are more then enough tree's and other sources on this earth that can very easily handle our CO2 outputs. Just like everybody has already said, I also believe that its just a weather occurance that has happened since time began and will continue until time finishes here on earth. We are just a small little bacteria that have barley any influence on the earths weather patterns. : Last edited by AUIIForte; 18-03-2008 at 08:52 AM. |

I'm also agreeing with Steffo . If you have the time, watch this presentation from professor bob carter on climate change. There are 4 parts to his presentation, here is the first part and the others are in the side menu. Just skip the annoying lady who introduces him. part 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOLkz...eature=related |

I am for alcohol based fuel, as there is no paradigm shift from current technology, and assuming all alcohol comes from Au for Au - it will be great for our Primary Industry, and economy.
That having been said: The quotes questioning 'Climate Change' are valid - we should question, not simply accept. I am not saying I know the answers, all I am saying is that the greenies dont either. http://www.lavoisier.com.au/papers/a...ninefacts.html http://www.lavoisier.com.au/ It is not my original .. but .... That's also assuming those who give these figures are correct about them in the first place. Don't worry too much, the Earth will still be quite fine tomorrow, and the day after... and even the day after that!

Just do your little bit . Don't put sump oil down the drain ,recycle ,plant a low maintenance garden etc . A few billion Chinese and Indians are just getting vehicles , modern electrical equipment etc , we can only do so much ourselves . These countries are way behind the eightball when it comes to being eco friendly and will offest anything we do on the world scale.

Or invent a flux capacitor, converting the carbon in everyday waste back to energy source. Most promising to me is one the greenies will initially hate. Using woodchips and sawmill waste and recycled biomatter (wastewater solids, greenwaste, rubbish) to produce Biodiesel rather than corn etc. Those big car nazis GM were reportedly quite advanced on this. IMHO planting crops of trees to chop down and pulp can't be but a good idea and may stop the rainforest being dragged down to plant corn fields in South America where EL Nino come from. |

The theory of man made climate change has been well & truly debunked. There is still the fanatics who treat it as religion who keep spreading lies to justify their existence but more & more people are looking deeper into it & realising it’s a hoax.

I couldn't help notice on last nights news some talk of what to do with the revenue generated through emissions taxing and carbon trading. It seems the governments of the world aren't waiting for any sort of proof when there's revenue to be had.
