Definitely not AU's. They suck. Why would you ever own one.

My BF is a great car, but I'd say XB overall.

According to Wiki, XF sold 280,000 in 3.5 Years. AUI/II sold about 200,000 over 3 years, not sure on AUIII as its got the wrong sales figures listed. I doubt it would be any more than 50,000.

AUII Falcon: 93,250 AUIII Falcon: 31,320 Total AU-Series Falcon sales 1998 - 2002: 235,990 By comparison... XF Falcon: 278,101 (1984-1988) Then you've got the EA Falcon, often considered by many to be Ford's worst ever locally built car... EA/EAII Falcon: 223,612 (1988-1991) The AU's sold quite poorly compared to the E-Series and later X-Series Falcons.

i've owned a few, but i loved the BF. Sensational car. Everything is good with it, the colours, the interior, the 6 speed auto, the whisper quiet 6, the chimes, the ............... EVERYTHING.
If i ever have $$$ again one day, i'd be sitting in either: a BF2 Ghia 5.4 or a BF1/2 XR6T

It was a tossup between the XD and the XF. Love the looks of the XD, but the XF is a good solid, well built car. Also can be tuned with a flathead screwdriver.

I voted for the AU II/111.
I have owned an XB; an XC; 2 @ XD's - one was a Fairmont; an XE; an EL and my current car an AUII. Most were new or current models when I bought them and not one model really stands out above the rest. I found them all great & suited my purposes and the only reason that I voted for the AUII/III, over the rest, is because I've had it the longest, 5.1/2 years now, and that's a record for me, so it must be pretty bloody good. |

although my dad has a ba i voted an xb. the ba turns heads, has plenty of power and the bf just improved it with the 6 speed auto, better fuel effiency. bigger brakes. the list goes on. but i just love the look of the old xb's so i voted for it, the xc's were good looking too.

Oh where to start...
I actually like every Falcon model, based on looks. (Except the AU. XRs aren't bad though) Never owned a Falcon before, so I don't really know what the "Best" is. |

Ok first things first, who the hell voted for the EA?
Obviously the newest Falcon model tends to be the best, which it should be. I don't think too many would be impressed if the EBII was the best Falcon Ford ever came up with lol. |

Forgot the BFII. There is a difference b/t the BF and BFII. ZF Transmission makes a bloody big difference.
I voted BF because mechanically, the BFII is a good car. Also safe. I love the older Falcons, but the BFII has the full package. |

Tough question, I own an EL and i love it to bits but what ford did to make the BA is remarkable. Big risk and it paid off. Gets my vote.
