Still a valid point, just not quite spot on.
Yes, makes sense as both are CUB lagers (Not bitter as in VB). How do you explain the Alc Vol difference then? Crownie is 4.9% and Fosters is 4.6%
(Crown & VB are the ONLY heavy CUB products still at 4.9% by the way)

I'm with you Genisis, Tui is a bloody nice drop, in a glass 2.25 litre flagon, after a long day chopping firewood.
Where's Steinlager, NZ's best exported beer?
The old Steinlager Blue is the best, but not available nowadays.
Green is still good though.

I love my bundy, so I tried the bundy infused beer once, hated it (but since it was free and I was a uni student, I drank it all night) Go the Coopers
A note on VB, it shouldn't be counted as it's only Visitors Beer, you know, the crap stuff you keep in the back fridge for all those mates who rock up empty handed and expect to drink your nice coopers.

People need to try more beers!

VB may be local, but it's like comparing dam water to spring water after having more decent beers!

So today I had Heineken on tap (quite a disaster) and then Becks & Stella in a bottle. Both were very disappointing. At the moment my choice remains with Beez Neez and Grolsch, or Tooheys Extra Dry on the cheap.

Try Lime in your Coronas'. Much sweeter taste.. Not all bars have it, and at $1.20 to buy, use 'em wisely..

I voted VB because I drink stubbies.

Off tap I would have voted Carlton.

If Millers was there it would have got my vote. Now thats great beer.

Vctoria Bitter -> Utter Crap
Carlton Cold -> Not bad when cheap
James Boags Prem -> nice
crown Lager -> Not worth what they ask
Becks -> nice
Cascade Prem Lager -> I like that almost home brew taste
XXXX Gold -> midstrength for the beer hat
Corona -> yellow mexican water
Carlton Draught -> crap (cheap at uni tho)
Heineken ->Not Bad
Stella Artois -> Not Bad either
Tooheys New -> Good when its cheap
Coopers -> Nice beer... but which one?
Melbourne Bitter -> crap
Home Brew -> Sometimes its good, sometimes not so good :P

My pick of choice is Little Creatures Pale Ale

Beware of some "German" and Belgian" beers....read the labels on the back. A lot of European beers are actually brewed and bottle under licence here in Australia, they are no longer imported.

The list of locally brewed "German" and "Belgian" beers includes Stella Artois, Becks, and many more...even more of a reason to support the local amber fluid.
