I apologise in advance if its a constant question,

But does AFF has an option somewhere that allows you to keep an eye on certain threads? and save the threads for later viewing if you've replies to it?

Munch, click the "thread tools" button on the thread toolbar. It gives you the option to subscribe to the thread you are in. Also, in your "User CP", you can elect to auto subscribe to any threads you have posted in. My suggestion is not to receive the email that tells you when a thread has been replied to - you will get inundated with emails.
