Hi I have a 05 fiesta lx 1.6
It recently blew a radiator hose which resulted in it over heating. Immediately after this it was very hard to start, coughing and spluttering particulary when it was hot but had been off for about 10 minutes and then restarted. I suggested to the ford dealer that the head gasket had blown. The Ford dealer did a TK test and ruled out head gasket blown and detected fuel contamination. They attended to this replacing pump, rails, injectors and claimed the problem was fixed. Withing 30 minutes of picking up the car, it started doing the same thing, hard to start and steam pouring out the exhaust. Does any one have any advice ? Water is obviously getting into the system but the dealer says the TK test says that the head is ok. Thanks |
