It is possible to hook up amps to the headunit, although it doesn't have RCA outputs, What you will need to do is either buy amps with high level inputs our buy a RCA lineout converter like the scosche LOC80

http://cgi.ebay.com/Scosche-LOC80-Ad...item45f3d8b1d5

From there you can run RCA's to the amp.

Personally I just bought a Sony XM-GTX6040 4 channel to run a set of GTX splits on the front and GTX 3 ways up back. I haven't gotten around to taking the door cards of yet because work hasn't given me a weekend off in two months and as such my beautiful speakers are sitting in my garage. But the guys on the euro forums tell me that they are 17cm front and back.

Here are a couple of threads from the euro forum describing how to remove the head unit and install a sub. Also stay tuned for my install thread, my install is going to be a bit more professional then the one below.

Also I would recommend running one large amplifier as opposed to two smaller ones as it will drain less from the battery whilst also being easier to install (there isn't much room under the fez's seats). Also ensure that you replace the wiring, there's no point upgrading and amping the speakers without upgrading the wiring.
