Default Need an answer about MA grill chrome today

Hi,

I am checking the car over before sending it back for 3rd round of smash repaires tomorrow and I need someone to check something for me.

I am able to simply use my finger nail to start to pull the chrome off from the lower grill. Could someone with an MA please try on theirs and get back to me?

I suspect they have broken a clip (or 2) when installing the replacement.

The reason I tried this is because the join at the Passenger side is not sitting flush and he is trying to tell us that it is expected.

Tried both sides and they are firmly attached.

Cheers

Thanks Allan that is good to know. I believe that they broke it when installing because one time I called on the weekend and the worker said that they "were having trouble with the grill".

The car has been sent away again and the repairer has been tasked to talk with Ford about it.
