Thumbs up Mondeo : how can i get more power ?

I have an 2010 2.3L wagon, its great in every aspect except that its gutless,
My question is can it be E-tuned like others ..
I drove the new one but it wasn't much better ?

I have purchased a chip box from Pro Racing in Europe.
Basicaly plug and play, so i will take it for a long drive to evaluate.
Has any one had any experience with these.?

I tried this diesel power box and it does NOT work at all. I have tried it on all settings, including max 10 and nothing. Was going to return for a refund but the return postage cost was so expensive I didn't worry about it.

Chips can make a decent difference to comon rail direct injected and turbo cars (ecoboost, TDCi) because they can manipulate the fuel pressure sensor and some of them manipulate boost.
I really don't see a chip making much difference to the n/a 2.3 because there's not much it can do to it. It most likely modifies a sensor input to fool the ECU into advancing the timing. So you might get a few hp gain but listen out for pinging. You may need to use premium fuel.

Thumbs down Re: Mondeo : how can i get more power ?

I plugged it in, but some what underwhelmed at the results.
I went on a trip of 200 k,s + but no change in fuel economy, maybe a slight difference in throttle response at low speed, maybe due to an increased timing?
