I’d hate to have seen this BEFORE it was “improved “!

I saw the same add and had similar thoughts. Looks like big money has been spent, but to me it looks like a monstrosity. He did mention he has parts to make front end original but at $350K I doubt he will have any interest.

Poor bugger must have the shakes - he's obviously inadvertently tapped the zero key one too many times when he was typing the asking price...

This is why drugs are bad.
Can only hope it wasn't actually a Cobra, but even still, to do that to any Hardtop is a mortal sin.

Why would you fit a Mercedes engine into this? Seems very very unusual.

You lot have no imagination, this isn’t my idea for a ford coupe but this guys had the balls to dull something different
How many over restored coupes do we want? The market will dictate if he’s hawking the right price,

Yeah we all have different tastes, but that abomination of a bonnet is not acceptable in any way.

Apart from the paint job, is it a real Cobra ? Build number ? VIN ?
And if it was genuine at the start of its life, it is certainly a Frankenstein Cobra now, with little or no heritage left. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this would only be attractive through the bottom of many beer glasses. |

I reckon that was someone's 30 year project that just wouldn't end.

Apart from the “rear-ended” bonnet (thanks Wodahs), my favourites are the classy Stupid-cheap auto checker-plate floor mats and the oh-so-professionally applied Dynoc on the dash. The skull gear shift is an added bonus!

I can't seem to find any for sale right now but surely a correct matching numbers vehicle in restored condition wouldn't go for that?
There is a Phase 1 and Phase 2 GTHO for sale for less!

Each to their own I guess......
Waste of a nice car if it was authentic before the mods, probably would have got his asking price for an original clean COBRA 67 XR V8 - Tru-XR8 99 XR8 - baby sister
