Default Uni notes

Hey people,

I've finally finished my exams as of yesterday and after 3 weeks of study and more on topic making lots of notes.

I'm a third year law student and I find it hard to concentrate for long periods of time. Anyway, what do the students here do in regards to notes? How do you stay focused?

MOST importantly, does anyone know of a good site that you can share notes or download past student notes? I managed to get a copy off a past student for this semester which I built from and that was really handy.

Does anyone do law at QUT?

Cheers

Mental note, staying online only means stumbling into fordforums instead of studyin!!! FIGHT THE URGE, STAY AWAY!!!

I find good music is always great to get you concentrating and study buddies!! (pity i'm 3 hours away from the closest one!! lol)

During lecturs I only jot down the 'main points', points that i think are really important and areas for me to do further study on.

I always have a minute or two off each hour when studying, just to give myself i chance to stretch and relax! When my brains had enough (which is most days!! lol ) go out wash the car! (My xb stays very clean when a major assessment piece is due!)

The main thing i find is not to cram it all in, otherwise most is forgotten. If i'm feeling tired, walk away for awhile then come back.

PS. Fresh air never hurt anyone, go for a walk if you need to!

Im through OUA which means I get to use all the Uni's I need.
Most of the uni's have a forum which you can share info with other students with. Im not sure about QUT but Griffith (which is who Im doing the Criminal Justice and Criminology part of my degree through) put you in contact with students doing the same units so you can share through that way or simply through the forums..

I store all my notes onto a CDRW and that way I can update it and share the info if anyone asks. But, I print out the really important ones to keep in a folder!!!!!!!!

Each time before studying I quickly browse through the notes so that sort of helps staying focused, but also make sure no other distractions are happening or you will never stay focused :
(which sadly is where Im at this unit)

Enjoy your break!!!!!!!!!

I totally understand what you are saying... if its a subject you enjoy (or even understand) not a problem.. but when its rubbish ... well lets just say I have pushed the point a few times now about getting my assessments in on time :
