You peeps floating around the forum probably already knew this...
but if you have the stereo on volume 1 (softest setting), its pretty quiet when your'e stationary ...but when you start driving it gets a tad louder to compensate for road noise! ...how cool is it! ....I thought it was cool anyway ..

I noticed this in a Hire Holden Astra
I figured it was the better reception on that stretch of road, where it gets above 65kmh |

It's probably the first thing that I turned off the day I got the car. That and the anti-destortion (CLIP) reduction are both off on mine.. Very annoying features!

I use the Clipping setting but I toned down the "agressiveness" of the avc to 1, bit more subtle when stopping at lights etc.
When I picked up my Fez the bass was at -4 and the treble was at +5... no wonder I thought the speakers where shizen, alsmost put me off the car, but after playing with the settings found that +1-2 bass and 0 on treble is good balance and the speakers can handle upto 26 on most tracks before clipping.. still needs a sub tho... ;)
