Default BA XR8 Lock Nuts

I bought a BA xr8 ute about 4 months ago. On the weekend I blew out three tyres and have discovered that I have no key for the lock nuts. The RAC towed my car but offered no assistance to get wheels off. Told me to take it up with dealer, who I know will say they dont know where it is. Any one got any ideas. I am in PERTH

Try getting an old socket and flogging it on and use breaker bar to loosen have seen this done before but you will need to throw them in the bin after

Mate your best bet is the dealer, or a wheel shop, they may have a similar key to match.

how did you blow three tyres?

Big Hint. DO Not get a replacement lock key. If the lock nuts are the same as the FPV's they are shyte, pathetic cast brass, with very thin tongues and grooves. Buy a decent set.

Be prepared to possibly sacrifice a socket or two.
Depending upon mag wheel, grab a couple of 21mm or 22mm sockets (el cheapo the better). Tap socket over nut so its tight, and remove

or

Got to a reputable tyre fitter, enquire about buying a new set of lock nuts, and when he is about to sell them to you say. "Oh, by the way can you remove my old ones that I cant find the lock key for, and replace them with these nice new ones that you have kindly sold me, please please" :evil_laug

Dont worry things like this always happen. Some tyre stores have even made up a sockety / jig thingamy that easily removes the lock nut.
I am an bit concerned about this thou. Saw them remove four lock nuts after they had stripped the key. Took 'em about 40 seconds to undo all four
