Default Best and Worst Actors/Actresses

Who are your favorite actors/actresses and who do you hate to see on the screen?

For me it's:

Best:

John Travolta
Samuel L. Jackson
Kevin Spacey
Arnie (of course)
George Clooney (can be good but can also be very bad)
Julia Roberts
Will Smith (except for Wild Wild West - utter utter crap)
Denzel Washington

Worst:

Bill Pullman
Bill Paxton (cant stand this guy!)
Helen Hunt
Hugh Grant (urgh!)
Irish Actor - James something, cant remember his name but he was in Four Weddings and a Funeral I think. Downright annoying!
Many many more.........:hihi:

Only ONE best!.... Give you a hint.. Easy Rider, The Shining, Who flew over the cuckoos nest, plus the favorite words.. "I don't give a damn"
Actually a man in Cool Hand Luke... "shakin tha tree boss" wasn't bad either!..Also great as a hustler, a stinger, and a Butch!.. As was a certain guy driving a mustang over the San Fransisco humps, and who also had a butterfly tattooed across his chest, and who rode a Triumph bike escaping a prison camp.....
Worst?... Ummmm ....Jim Carey!

Just as a sideline.... All you young guys out there who have not seen BULLIT with Steve McQueen in the totally best car chase ever... Do yourself a favour & get down to your local videostore!

The car chase in Bullet was good.....well it would of been good 20 years ago. The one in the original Gone in 60 Seconds shits all over it.

lol, Ssegal is just a crack up, the way he maintains that high-ish calm tone no matter what he says. the best example was in 'fire down below' i think the movie was titled, and these random farmers jump him in the carpark and he hits them with a piece of wood he bought to fix some womans porch, and he says, completely matter-of-factly "Damn, you dented my lumber. See, that's no good. Oh well, ill just use my hands" or something along those lines, and its just so classic cos there is no variation in expression or speed of delivery or anything.
He was also involved and what a friend and i have dubbed the most amusing fight scene in any movie. It was in 'under siege' (im spoiling the ending i guess, but i doubt any one is going to run out and want to see under siege if they havent already) and just to set the scene, segal is a navy seal who did some naughty stuff and ended up as a navy chef. Why, i dont know. Anyway, his boat gets taken over and of course every other serviceman gets captured except the chef, and segal takes guys out etc etc, and in the end, he and tommy lee jones get into a knife fight. If i remember correctly, leejones takes a swing at segal and somehow segal catches the knife in his mouth, at which point leejones makes an annoyed sound. Next, segal sticks his finger in leejones' eye which provokes a "Grrrrrrr!" sound, and then segal stabs his knife into the top of leejones' skull. At this point, the camera cuts to a different angle, where leejones has very obviously been replaced by a mannequin with a destroyed mop for hair, and the mannequin falls limply to the ground. We're pretty sure the skin was purple too.

But anyway, there are so many actors i think are worthy of mention, but the main ones that come to mind are:
Good:
Sean Connery
Clint Eastwood
Richard Dean Anderson (i'm something of a stargate fan, but I really like his acting style)

Bad:
Frankie Muniz (god i hate him)

of course I have a lot of 'favourite' actors, but ive listed the ones i think are really good at what they do.

I thought he put his own knife in his mouth and then used both hands to overpower Tommy Lee Jones, then poke his eye then stab him with the knife he then removes from his mouth, then shoves Tommy Lee Jones into the instrument panel

It's funny that you listed Robin Williams in best category as he would have to be the biggest overactor on the planet!

I think it was Executive Decision where he gets sucked out of the plane? I recall seeing that flick at a theatre and people actually cheering while he plummetted to his death. I think most reviews also list this as a highlight of the movie.

Segal is one of those actors where I can't decide whether to like him or hate him as I do tend to enjoy the movies he is in.
