Saw the new GT today at Keira Ford, Wollongong. Was a bit dirty but looked very good and the rims are a nice look on it too. Stripes dont look as tacky as I thought they would ( I do think Ford is at the limit of striping cars though) . I assume it was a customer car in for a service.
Anyone else seen one? Whay did you think? Interesting that they also had a focus XR5 turbo in there, without rego yet. I thought you couldnt get these any where. |

We got one in at work last week. Looked great. Pity the interior is the same as a GT's. Ford could have spiced it up a bit with colouring. Maybe brown 'GT' lettering on the seats perhaps? The rims looked really good, lets you know it isn't just a 'standard' GT.
Pity it was raining though, would have loved to test the new suspension

The interior of the anniversary model is equally distinctive, with FPV sports seats finished in a combination of leather and suede, featuring silver thread highlights and an embroidered 'GT' logo.

Westpoint Ford in Hoppers Crossing have one in their show room,it doesnt have a price so it may be just for a demo. build no 309 from memory.
and for what its worth i had my rear brake lines done there a week or so ago and they were excellent to me and my 3 year old daughter(gave her some pencils and paper etc to play with) cheers Dean |

I'm not sure but I think dealers are saying there are none left to hype it up a bit. My brother was told there are none left in the entire country but put his name down for one anyway.
Over he course of 2 weeks was offered other GTs and FPV cars, but when he said he'll only buy a 40th anniversary or nothing they suddenly found another a week later! Go figure. Could be coincidence but who knows..... |
