Default I'm back from the US & Canada...

Well had a great time on the trip. 3 days in Disneyland (did 15 rides with the kids), LA is a hole, dirty filthy place, gang bangers every where.
Went to Venice beach on a hot day and more gang bangers, LAPD everywhere including SWAT (check out the shotty on the Harley), so that was enough for me so packed up and left the beach.

Boy talk about obese people, they're everywhere in the US and no good lookers to be seen anywhere, food is crap, everything is huge serves and greasy. Got to Canada and babes everywhere, done up as cowgirls for the stampede, short skirts, boots and cowboy hats, yeehah.

In US got the front desk to arrange a taxi for a trip to the local mall, a v8 Towncar with leather interior rocks up, cool.
Got some Nike Air for about $50 Oz and 3 pair of Levis for about the same price, half the price of Oz.

Went to Universal studios, heaps of cars from the movies there including the Delaurion from back to the Future and Vin Diesals car from fast and Furious.

In Canada all we got for a Taxi was a Prius(yuk). Went to the Clagary Stampede, awesome, highly recommended.

Anyway here's some pics, Canada is fantastic, did the Rocky Mountaineer, saw a 1931 Dodge towing a small caravan going thru the Rockies. 2007 Mustangs are every where.

Just about everyone drives around in monstrous long bed pick ups with dirty great V8 engines and complain about the cost of fuel. No F100's all F350 and bigger.

PM if you want to know anything about going to the states, Canada or Hong Kong and I'll see if I can give you some tips.
Talking of tips, what a pain that is, tipping everybody for everything.

Sounds good. Would you recommend the US as a tourist destination, or you reckon more Canada?

Nice mustang and Vin Diesel's car

Is it the real one or a mock-up?

It looked like a mock up, I was in a hurry and didn't get a chance to really check it out.

Canada definetly, very nice friendly polite people.
Much nicer scenery, cleaner cities.
Not that the Americans weren't friendly but I just didn't go for LA much. I was told by other Americans on my tour in Canada not to judge the US by LA, apparently a lot of people don't think much of it too.
I think NY and LV would be completely different.
Looked much easier to self drive in Canada too.

LOL LA is a hole, but travel around California, and you will find heap of nice things and places to be, I live just out of Sacramento, and we dont have the Gang Issues, we do have "some" good looking people (Anna Kournakova, lives here) but the obese thing is everywhere, You are right about the food but if you look and take some time there are fantastic places to eat, LOL @ 50 for Nike Air's you got ripped off, I only pay 30 max for mine....everything here to shop is VERY Cheap.

Yeah dont judge America by LA. Travel around a bit, it's very diverse but population dense enough to make just about every part of America "liveable." Mid-west is very nice, the population isn't too dense, still loads to do, and you still have the rocky mountains etc, lakes, national parks. Great part if you like outdoor recreation amongst civilization.
