Default MK2 2L accelorator cable

Hi,
any help with this would be greatly appreciated. i am currently in the process of doing up at 4dr mk2 turning it from a 1600 to a 2L i have put 45 webber side draughts on it but unfortunately cannot come up with a way to connect the throttle cable. What do people normally do?

hey dude,

just did the same thing, with dellorto's :P

I took the back engine lift backet and welded the top part off the orginal backet for the cabel. so the cabel sits at the back on the engine and joints onto the linkage kit.

I could get pics, but the car is in storage, so it will be later in the week.

thanks for the quick reply im going to source out a new cable tomorrow and try it out. but if you could post those other pics you were talking about it would be even better. thanks again
