Default Need a worker

I need to employ another pair of hands to help me at work. I put an ad on a so called leading employment website. 45 views in a month and no replies. I thought I would be swamped with applications.
Can i advertise on here maybe?

Trainee windscreen fitter. On the road most of the day. Learn to fit Windscreens, repair them and polish them, a bit of tinting too. When you can do it all it can pay pretty well. But the trainee wages might suit a younger guy.

Heres the ad

cruise'e job

I used to fit windscreens at work some times ( it was a side line) and I learnt to tint as there was no-one down here that did it and I cnbf driving 2hr just to get it tinted.

Your right .... it would be a good job for a young guy .

Hope you get someone soon , I have been advertising on a few job web-sites for a mth now and still no luck.

Is it me or no-body wants to work these days .There are heaps of good job going begging and everyone wants a free ride .
When I left school in 1990 there wasn't alot of jobs going and you can forget a job where they take the time out to train you.
All I can say is good luck finding someone and hope it works out .Plus this will be a good job as you are on the road most of the time so the day just flys past and you never know what you are dong from day to day .
I know I use to repair car windows also for a few years while at uni

Seeing as we're on the subject, I'm looking for a motor mechanic apprenticeship, heavy or light vehicle within reasonable distance from the Mornington Peninsula area. I'm 22 and have learnt the value of a hard days work through full time employment in various full time jobs, since finishing year 12. Cheers people~

Problem is with low unemployment and pretty much every industry booming its hard to find someone to work for trainee wages. Y ou can earn over $30 an hour as a T/A, no onder we are seeing a shortage of trades people

When looking for an apprentice two months ago i advertised on a job website and had no response.
I then tried the local paper and my phone didn't stop ringing for a week.

I will pay a good fitter about 1k gross and a vehicle and phone.

Posting this on here tripled the ad views.
I think its time to put the job in the paper.

Since when has 45 hours been a standard working week?

Also, many job agencies place ads on the web and ignore applications only to keep re-advertising the same position (has happened many times).

Another issue is that many Employers are still paying awful wages, where $13net p/h seems to be "acceptable" by them. It's ridiculous.
