Nothing. As usual. 2 friends are coppers and will be working in the city, one is going to some church function, and the other one has a boyfriend, and therefore no time to even say hello to any of her friends.
So I'll probably sit at home with my parents and watch the fireworks on tv. If I'm still awake at midnight.

New Years Eve this year I am going live on my 'Rock' station, and presenting a Top 20 countdown of classic rock acts as voted by our listeners.
The groups and artists were voted on by the listeners, but the tracks played to go with that particular act is being decided by the station....should be fun. Whilst not getting wasted I feel a couple of cold cans during the show will be the order of the day.

I was meant to be working my usual arvo shift (5pm-10pm) in the office on NYE, with no chances of getting the night off (even though I'm supposed to be leaving town on Sunday and not back til Tuesday/Wednesday).
No chance of getting it off turned to "if you work a day this week instead you can have it off". So I'll be drunk, somewhere. Listen for the drunkard singing Leonard Cohen & Pink Floyd songs LOL
