Default Burning oil

Hi all. I have a 06 Zetec which is burning a lot of oil. I topped it up just on a month ago and it has fallen really low. Car only has 27000kms? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Any exhaust smoke?
No leaks at all?
A new engine will use a small amount of oil but I've never had to top up my 06 model.

Be more precise.... How much is it using per 10k, most new vehicles these days have a allowance of using 2.5 Lts of oil per 10,000km
Which is acceptable according to manifacturers....

I topped it up month ago and it was really low yesterday. Took it to Ford to day as it is still under warranty. We had a puff of blue smoke yesterday from the exhaust which went away after a couple of minutes.
