The missus is the now the owner of a brand spanking LT Focus...
not to shabby at all, apart from a few niggly things fantasic car... I really want to change the location of the 3.5mm jack for aux port. I would prefer it pretty much anywhere on the console except from where it is... Any ideas of prices for the re-location? or if i would be able to do it myself? the guy who did the walkthru of the car with us, really didnt know... The other thing i want to replace is the auto gear stick... are they interchangable? I'm not sure if the button from another stick will work in same way or not... the last thing that annoys me about the car are the plastic-y interior door handles... ive had a quick look around to see if anyone sells replacements but i havent seen any... Any ideas? Cheers roj |

I'd buy a 3.5mm male to female audio cable and just run it from the glovebox, back into the dash, down to the console where you want it. Easy, cheap and removable later.

There is a sizable gap underneath the glove box on the right that I can fit my hand in, I'm just not sure how to remove the rest of the console to get at the cable... Also ive been looking online at replacement auto gear stick handles - I'm starting to really like the look of the F6's - im guessing i have buckleys of getting one though yes? anyone have any ideas if they would be interchangable? cheers roj |
